After studying cello from an early age, Jeffrey picked up the bass at the age of twelve and began playing in bands in his hometown of Kilgore, TX.

His passion for bass continued throughout his school years.

The five piece band is comprised of an eclectic mix of talented multi-instrumentalists from different parts of the world creating a unique fusion of sounds and styles. While living in the US for the past 15 years, he has been greatly influenced by a wide spectrum of artists like James Brown, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, etc.

Jeffrey moved to Portland in 2006, where he met his future bandmates in Off The Grid, a band dedicated to performing improvisational music powered by solar panels.

He also began to delve into the world of Ableton, and Golden Beets was born as a new project focusing on music production, remixing and DJing.
